Cocktail: The Event celebrates San Antonio’s thriving cocktail culture, spotlighting a dozen of the city’s top bars. Each participating drinkery is tasked with serving samples of an inventive cocktail, inspired by this year's tiki theme! Guests will experience bites by a dozen of San Antonio’s best restaurants, live music and DJs, a costume contest and much more, all while exploring the breathtaking Jack Guenther Pavilion.
Attendees are encouraged to dress up in costume while they celebrate the city’s cocktail culture for a good cause. A portion of the event proceeds will benefit the Briscoe Western Art Museum, a 501 c3 non-profit.

This year's theme is TIKI! We encourage guests to dig out the grass skirts and coconuts and have fun at the most exciting party of the summer.
Will it be indoors or outdoors?
The San Antonio Botanical Garden is an outdoor venue. The event will be held in the evening, but it will still be a hot one! Fortunately, guests can refresh themselves with the cold cocktails, paletas, and other summer treats. Several tents and fans will offer shade.
Do VIP guests receive early entrance?
No, gates open at 8 p.m. for all guests. VIP guests will receive access to the Abbey at Dominion Crossing VIP Tiki Lounge, complimentary valet parking, access to VIP restrooms, a commemorative Garrison Bros. Distilling custom tiki mug glass and exclusive cocktails by Dulce Vida Tequila.
Are there non-alcoholic options?
Yes! You can enjoy Heineken 0.0 and other non-alcoholic drinks like Topo Chico and sodas at any of our four full bars onsite.
Can I bring my kids? What about a baby in a stroller?
No, COCKTAIL: The Event is for guests ages 21+. No one under the age of 21 will be permitted and all guests must have valid IDs.
What time is the Costume Contest?
We're glad you asked! The costume contest, hosted by Haute In Texas and sToriBook, will happen in the lobby at 9:30 p.m.
How do I enter the Costume Contest?
Meet us in the Conservancy between 9:15 - 9:20 p.m. to enter.
How do I vote for my favorite cocktail in the Cocktail Competition?
Each guest will be given a wooden nickel upon entrance. Simply drop your token into the vase on your favorite bar to cast your vote. The winning cocktail will be revealed at 10:30 p.m.!
If I can't make it, can I get a refund?
All tickets are final sale and no refunds will be granted.
If I can't attend, can I give my tickets to a friend?
Yes, tickets are fully transferable, as long as your friend is 21+ and brings a valid photo ID.
Besides delicious, Tiki-inspired cocktails, what can I expect?
Aside from tasty cocktails by 16 of the city's best bars, guests can experience bites from top local restaurants, live music and Hawaiian performances, two DJ zones, the AARC interactive photo station, a Deep Eddy Vodka airstream, costumes, New Belgium Mural aguas frescas cerveza, spiked paletas, and access to the stunning San Antonio Botanical Garden.
Can my friends purchase their tickets at the door?
Tickets are only available online in advance of the event and will not be sold at the door.
Guests can utilize valet or adjacent parking lots at their own expense. Please see the map below for parking lots and a rideshare zone.
